TapIn ("we", "our", "the app") is a campus life app built for UC Davis students. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account Information: When you sign in, we collect your name, email address (via Apple or Google Sign-In), or phone number (via SMS authentication). This is used solely to create and manage your account.
Profile Information: Your display name, which appears on game leaderboards and within the app.
Gameplay Data: Game scores, completion times, and streaks for leaderboard functionality.
Saved Content: Articles and events you bookmark are stored locally on your device.
We use your data exclusively for app functionality:

Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud infrastructure. Saved articles and events are stored locally on your device. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

TapIn is intended for college students. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
